I’m a big hater of AI but I have to admit that yes, AI now is mostly trash, but unfortunately it can learn very fast and become very good at most fields even faster.

Maybe. I think it’s good to look at history and remember how many times new technology has been attacked as trash, only to become Incorporated into the art world later or be recognized as an art for itself.
The technology itself improves. People come up with new ways to use it. Sometimes people come up with entire due vocabulary for its use, as we have with film.
Photography brings to mind as one that went from “this is shitty easy mode painting” to Ansel Adams etc.
AI has been drawing for several years and writing for three years. Imagine telling a five year old he’ll never be a real painter or a three year old that his novel is derivative and cliche.
