    Oh shit. Europe just tried to set a boundary for a narcissist.

    Any psych majors here? Want to tell us how that will go?

    Maybe EU should interfere in the affairs of the USA eh? Make sure the baddies never win again

    I love the way they have a problem with people going into schools and killing 20 people every few months with machine guns and stuff.

    But no, tell us all the things that are apparently wrong with us……

    Clown show in America at present…..

  4. Europe should be hard at work on not needing to rely on US with anything so we could just say meh to Trump & co.

  5. Trump is hot for Russian frozen $$$, the Russians offered him a chunk if he manages to release it.
    US can’t be counted on anymore, deeply corrupt. I hope the EU manages to get a grip on the situation.

  6. Unless they are being occupied by The Third Reich or threatened by the Soviet Union/Russia.

    Then it’s OK.

    > Our broad policy for Europe should prioritize:
    > * Reestablishing conditions of stability within Europe and **strategic stability with Russia**;
    > * Enabling Europe to stand on its own feet and operate as a group of aligned sovereign nations, including by **taking primary responsibility for its own defense**, without being dominated by any adversarial power;
    > * Cultivating **resistance to Europe’s current trajectory** within European nations;
    > * **Opening European markets to U.S. goods and services** and ensuring fair treatment of U.S. workers and businesses;
    > * Building up the healthy nations of Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe through commercial ties, weapons sales, political collaboration, and cultural and educational exchanges;
    > * **Ending** the perception, and preventing the reality, of **NATO as a perpetually expanding alliance**; and
    > * Encouraging Europe to take action to **combat mercantilist overcapacity, technological theft, cyber espionage**, and other hostile economic practices.

    Unfortunately, the US is now determined to spread fascism across the world and must be viewed as our enemy.

    Count yourselves lucky Europe. You have an ocean between you and the MAGA regime. It ain’t much, but it’s something.

    Here in Canada, our increasingly separatist Alberta Premier (Danielle Smith) went to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump (and his cronies). She is trying to subvert the court system, and has passed legislation over-riding our fucking Federal Constitution. People call her voters, „the Maple MAGA“.

    She’s basically setting things up to declare unilateral independence, and then ask the Americans to support her treason. It would spark a generational insurgency against the Americans, and destroy my country.

    I really hope The Netherlands remembers who helped them in WW2. I think we may need a return on that favour.

    Trump isn’t smart enough to try and pull this off. This has Stephen Miller written all over it.

  11. Start selling those us bonds immediately. Just like Japan and other countries.

    In my country we have a saying we reserve for dealing with Americans who don’t know their place. We say: „Fuck off.“

    We also say it to non-Americans, too.

  13. Completely agree. After the Soviet Union fell there was no reason to maintain ties to Europe outside of trade. Let them handle their own business.

    I’d say this, trump has 3 years left. Then the us will have a new president. If he chooses to hold power for a 3rd term then the us will fall into civil war. Which he’s pretty dumb but it would be the end of the Republican Party. So unfortunately we have to deal with this bs for a little longer.

    And what exactly will the European council do when the US tells them to fuck off and interferes anyways? Because we all know that the USA does whatever the hell they want these days.

  16. If the US dictator wants to pull away from EU activities they must prepare to have the door slammed in their face when it comes to their ongoing issues.
