I wonder if he addressed any of the actual issues about what the EU found him in violation for, in all of those posts. From what I read, all the fines come down to a lack of transparency.
And by the way, this is a guy who doesn’t give a shit about free speech when a dictatorial regime is threatening to ban access to X in their country unless Musk gives them control over the visibility of posts by their political opponents. And Musk is silent about X not even being allowed in countries like China.
The EU should simply pass a law that forces social media to list the location origin of each poster AND under penalty of fines list whether or not a poster is human or a bot. This alone will solve most of the concerns regarding the affect social media has on society.
