She was convinced of the truth?
That’s ironic given that for quite a few years she wrote a lot of songs that turned out to be huge hits for other way less talented ‚artists‘ who can’t even be bothered to write their own songs.
That’s exactly how she was marketed. Her hits didn’t feature any “real” singing at the time. She did that weird wobbly voiced sing/talk thing. And her entire image was “stupid”. “Brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack”…what exactly did she expect when going along with all of that?
I remember when she had men pull their pants down in her tour bus.
