I mean, considering everything is already ~25% off due to the weak yen they could just get rid of the program entirely and shopping in Japan would still be a good deal.
EDIT: accidentally committed the classic sin of saying „75% off“ when I meant „75% of full price.“
Just get rid of it instead of raising visa fees to 100,000.
