These 75,000 people could be dead right now if there’s an active genocide going on beneath our noises since they didn’t find out about the Holocaust until after WW2.

How many native born American citizens has it ‚arrested‘ since it got turned into the hillbilly Stasi?

Funny to see Trump „divorcing“ Europe, and saying Europe needs to grow up..
I mean we have seen this taking of people already a couple of times on this continent and fought wars over it.

In Ukraine the war and this happening in USA, it really does feel like 1935-ish. YIKES !
When and where will we find the camps this time around?

    4. How much of your and mine hard earned tax dollars does it take to arrest 75000 people? What a complete waste, I want my money back! And it’s a freaking wretched thing happening

    5. 75,000 people that most likely contributed to their communities. People that were striving for the „American Dream“. People wanting a better life. People most likely like one of our ancestors. The hate and fear that this administration is spreading is disgusting.

It’s fairly criminal to false arrest and then hold noncriminals. Weak bought judges.

      Their ‚crime‘ was being non-white.

And anyone who ever thought or took conservatives at their word that they were only going to go after actual criminals is fucking stupid.

If you are in the country without a visa, that’s the crime. You just haven’t been convicted yet. I hope they are convicted with proof and then deported with a criminal record in case they return in the future.

Just wait, Trump got to make them up first and he doesn’t use a autopen or ChatGPT

It was just a simple misunderstanding. The murderers, rapists, and gang members were the ICE recruits rather than the targets of the operation.

    11. It would be helpful to have the rest of the context. Ice isn’t rounding up criminals. They’re rounding up people who don’t have the right paperwork to be in the country. Of course they are saying many of them are criminals, but the headline here implies that they’re rounding up innocent people when the whole point is addressing people who have not gone through due to process and are not supposed to be in the country.

No criminal record doesn’t mean that someone’s not here illegally. This is a very important point.

To be clear, I’m not a fan of what’s going on, but I don’t like misleading headlines either

I remember the Patriot act and the formation of ICE. I said these things would be abused and I was chuckled at, called silly.

    14. Fascinating.

Seriously, Obama deported 3 million during his Presidency and not a peep from the very people screaming about what is happening now. Democrats using people as props just as they always do.

So is this just politics or is it just politics?
