Took the Chinese nearly a decade between first manned space flight(SZ-5) and tiangong-1, and tiangong 1 was a small experimental station with a short lifespan. The current permanent station tiangong 3 went up nearly two decades after SZ-5. India hasn’t managed manned space flight yet, I highly doubt their space station will be in orbit before the 2040s

BJP ministers say a lot of shit. This is on par their usual playbook. No project in India gets completed in time and within the specified parameters. Nothing else, just look at Tejas and it’s development cycle.

    3. India can’t manage it’s airlines adequately. It’s either major safety violations or operational mismanagement. How do they expect to operate a space station without a successful manned space flight. Pipedream.

    4. Everything depends on how fast ISRO masters the metallurgy required to build a closed cycle engine. If they achieve it, a 2035 timeline is realistic.
