Is this some sort of trick question? It’s because Trump doesn’t care about Americans, American business or anything else beyond his own personal fortunes. And frankly, he’s reached such a point of dementia and narcissism that I’m not even sure he knows what’s good for him.
Americans voted a rotting maniac into the top job, and they will have earned every ounce of agony that that rotting maniac and the legion of sycophants and enablers in cabinet and in Congress have wreaked upon them.
And of course, there will be the US military, National Guard and Trump’s private ICE army there to make sure that Americans can’t even vote any of them out.
Because he sees trade as a zero sum equation, and believes that gaining more advantage is needed.
Also, his great councilor (Ron Vara) his pushing some convoluted economic theory.
The last few decades seem to suggest that how the US functions as a nation is predominantly determined by what’s good for business.
That makes me wonder if Trump’s pulling out of CUSMA might be the catalyst to the downfall of his administration. Businesses don’t care about human rights or due process or social programs, but they do care about money. And…

What’s worse there are 76 million Americans who thought that man would lead them to better things and lower prices.
Now he calls it a Democratic hoax. He has campaign signs that promised it!
He said it out loud earlier this week — he wants to have tariffs fund everything, and look like a hero for eliminating the income tax.
Trump is a grifted-billionaire that isn’t impacted if things get more expensive or harder to access. He’s on a power trip for what little lifespan he has left, and he wants Canada to bend the knee.
CUSMA is a farse , always has been Trump just exposed it.
Its a buisness partnership with a monopoly.
Trump tariffed everything that he wanted to Tariffs and he did so under their own guidance of what would be acceptable to Americans economically and socially, CUSMA did nothing.
Unless the Americans over turn the Tariffs and make right everything that was wronged then What does CUSMA even mean ?
