The Palomares article refers to a similar incident in 1968 in Thule, Greenland. Two Wikipedia articles isn’t nearly conclusive research, but wouldn’t Greenland (and Iceland) also be red on this map?

The Spain one was an accident regarding a plane that transported nuclear weapons. It happened almost 60 years ago.
