    1. Trump’s tiny balls really don’t need much room at all. (edited to rephrase)

That’s what happens when you disagree with our king. The result will be an environment of fear you’ll lose your job if you dare stand up to him. This is not the way things are meant to be.

I get it. It must have been shocking. No one has ever said that to him before.

    4. It’s so garishly ugly with all that white and gold that the next president has to immediately „renovate“ it regardless of how big it is.

The reality is that Trump had the east wing demolished without any plan. Literally there is no architectural plan. It’s fucking despicable.

    6. Negative_Gravitas on

Destroying things without any plan beyond the destruction is the entire MO of the Trump Administration.

It’s exactly what over 75 million people wanted. Remember that next time you talk to one of them.

Oh. So that’s the proposed explanation for the upcoming delay in construction then.

Never saw that coming. The east wing is going to be a hole in the ground for the next guy to fix.

legit, the first time i saw the draw ups for it i thought that there was no way that it would be structurally stable.

If the architect wasn’t paid up front, he can forget about collecting anything from the scumbag.

    10. It’s best he was fired because Donnie is known to not pay for contractors.

There isn’t going to be a ballroom there’s just going to be a large crater and one day, when he gets tired of answering ballroom questions, he’ll make Stephen Miller put on a gown and dance in it

    12. Everything he does now is basically the last attempt of a dying man to build a lasting legacy.

He wants a ballroom, he wants a Nobel peace prize… he just wants to put his name on more things before he dies. It’s sad and probably will continue the entire Presidency.

    13. Apprehensive_Age_384 on

Well, the architect wouldn’t get paid anyway, so he probably doesn’t care that much.

    14. ColdButCozy on

Ah, so that’s how this will end. With Trump dying in a collapsing Louis XVI style ballroom, literally crushed by his own hubris. Neat.

    15. valamaladroit on

Can you imagine if it ends up being structurally unsound and then collapses on a bunch of rich people?

    16. Major_Initial_Dud on

He’s literally just demolishing the Whitehouse in front of all of America… Under the guise of a ballroom?!

When was the last time anyone went to a „ball“?

      -Dont worry, I’ll wait.

„Waaah, the professional that I should listen to isn’t telling me exactly what I want to hear, I’m gonna fire them and hire someone else that just says what I wanna hear.“ Definitely red-hat culture at it’s finest.

Just last week, the liars at the White House said there was no disagreement.

They just cannot help themselves. They have to lie about everything.

    19. I feel this whole ballroom debacle is a perfect metaphor for the MAGA movement. Just like this mythical ballroom, MAGA demolished the USA to elect Trump and now get nothing but rubble.
