Anyone who isn’t religious to the level of fanaticism is a normal citizen for me, no matter which country they’re from. Otherwise, they’re a danger and it doesn’t matter whether it’s Islam, Christianity, or any other religion.

    2. Fellow Muslim country. The oppression by Asad was covered in our media extensively. A generation of kids grew up thinking of him as the most evil person on earth. Big sympathy, as we are a nation that suffered oppression ourselves.

Glad to see the tyrant go.

(If you want to know the general opinion of Azerbaijani people, Reddit is not a good place to find out.)

We use Syria as an example of fear mongering of what could happen to AZ if revolution occurs. Especially in 2010’s it was a popular saying “Don’t turn our country into Syria” or “Do you want us to be like Syria” anytime there was any kind of protests

Im happy that you guys somewhat a „decent“ start after Bashar. But Jolani is also a terrorist idk how that will turn out in the long run.

    7. not a big fan of your people. I have met many people from Syria, Jordan, etc. and for some reason on average you guys like to impose your religious beliefs on others, which is not a good thing to do

    8. No one cares tbh. Since it’s far and we’re not culturally related. But congratulate you on ending (almost) the civil war
