      Not really. The Crown is still the absolute owner, but fee simple title allows you to do a lot of things with the property, so that it can feel like absolute ownership. Expropriation and mineral rights are two clear examples of how it isn’t actually absolute ownership.

      Unfortunately, racism and democracy makes it easier to attack First Nations than the government.

      Sad to say it’s been pretty rare to see such good and objective reporting on this topic where most news outlets seem to see it as an opportunity to write some hot headlines and get clicks.
