They want to scan your cloud storage, messages, and email services in hopes of finding illegal content, and they will do this with AI, which is unreliable and will cause lots of false positives and that means innocent people will have their private photos and messages forwarded to the authorities to be reviewed by complete strangers. This is mass surveillance. Your right to privacy is on the line. Will you accept it? If not and you live in the EU, contact your local representatives and tell them that this proposal is not privacy friendly. Make your voice heard before it’s too late.

What’s the point of end-to-end encryption anymore if they force a backdoor on the client side? It’s fundamentally broken security.

Even if current leadership was to be trusted it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to trust all future leaders not to abuse it horribly and make an Orwellian future for us all.
Considering shit IT security that governments have across the globe. They can look forward to getting proper fucked as hackers use Ai agents. Because the backdoors they want to create, hackers will have them too. Fucking idiots never learn. Something worse than Pegasus 2.0 will be coming out look forward to that.
