Greenland isn’t a country
Cool idea and cool map! My biggest surprises are Iran and India not moving the needle more.
very interesting but open also open for vague and mind-boggling wrong. interpretation
China still in green while having 14 neighbouring country is wild
Why Germany is not green?
In the case of us in Brazil, it even makes sense, 50% of South America and 50% of the population, yes I know it’s not exactly 50, it’s 49/48 to 51/52 or something like that, but I’m rounding it off to make it easier.
Surprised by Israel, they are just 10 million vs almost 150 million of neighbors – Egypt (110 mil), Jordan (12 mil), Lebanon (6 mil), Syria (20 mil)
It’s a bit less impressive for UK, South Korea and Dominican Republic than it is for Brazil and China.
I’m guessing you are not counting France for Brazil
The UK and South Korea have it real easy in this one
Brazil has a lower gdp than France alone so it shouldn’t be green
no neighbors 🥺
Turkey wild
Canada has a land border with Greenland also with Sweden did you consider it technically being land borders with Denmark on account of the bridge?
interesting
doesnt Brazil border France (through French Guyana), which has a higher GDP than Brazil
Wow a rare statistics where green land has some data….oh it doesn’t!
As a Brazilian, it makes sense that we have a larger GDP than all our neighbors (bar France) combined
There needs to be a separate color for country that only have 1 neighbor
Sorry, but Greenland needs to be red. It has a land border with Canada (on the famous Hans island, source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Island#Resolution).
I wonder how close Germany got, but the sheer mass of neighbours with smaller but equally highly developed economies is insurmountable.
lol are the Falkland Islands green?
Lol I like how Singapore is just a grey dot
Useless map imo since it only counts neighbors by land.
will India be in the green if we remove china?
Cool map and idea
