Note that the composition of the Muslim population also differs from country to country. For instance, the Netherlands and Switzerland are both 6%, but in the Netherlands the Muslims are mostly Arabs and Turks, while in Switzerland they are mostly from the former Yugoslavia.

I know loads of Muslims and most are nice, but I must admit some tend to better than others.
The ones that I typically get along best with are from Turkey, the caucuses, Bangladesh (also some Afghan/ Iranian families are incredibly good people). It shows that it’s not just religion, but also culture and forms of the religion in question. Ngl it’s a bit sad to see the lack of integration in many places, as it’s disrespectful to the people who have allowed them to live there

As a Taiwanese living in Europe, I feel Europe is stuck in the past. No innovation. While people still believe they are the best. This is why Europeans feel shocked after firstly visiting Asian countries. They are more developed than they imagine.

The way right wingers were talking about it you’d think that muslims made up 50% of the population of UK, France and Germany. The UK is only 6% Muslim. To be fair in the areas they’re most concentrated, like London, that number rises to 15%. Muslims won’t take over western europe even in 100 years.
