Probably just the withdrawal symptoms kicking in cuz he went more than 30 minutes without a Coors.

      >“A couple of hours later I learned that that commander had made the—which he had the complete authority to do—and by the way Admiral Bradley made the correct decision to ultimately sink the boat and eliminate the threat.”

Is this threat in the room with you?

    3. Hegseth is clearly terrified about the implications here. And it seems that he should be.

Pete and Trump have both been informed by someone they view as credible that a war crime may have been committed. Trump is taking an “golly, ask Pete” approach and Hegseth is blaming an admiral. Let’s get that general on record and find some truth. The only good news in all of this is they just showed the Pentagon their character. They will act accordingly.

      >*“I watched that first strike live. As you can imagine at the Department of War we got a lot of things to do, so I didn’t stick around for the hour and two hours, whatever, where all the sensitive site exploitation digitally occurs, so I moved on to my next meeting,” Hegseth said.*

      >*“A couple of hours later I learned that that commander had made the—which he had the complete authority to do—and by the way Admiral Bradley made the correct decision to ultimately sink the boat and eliminate the threat.”*

Hey, Kegsbreath just because you didn’t watch it live, doesn’t in ANY fashion exonerate you. You also can’t have it both ways you were either were complict (at a minimum) and supported the action. Or it was done without your approval..

      WHICH IS IT???

I expect as the news cycle on this worsens you’ll start to deny, distract and otherwise attempt to distance yourself from this war crime (or was it outright murder?).

Sounds fishy. Hegseth says it took 1-2 hours before the survivors were spotted. By that time, Hegseth was in another meeting, so the general went against his training and decided to kill the shipwrecked right away without anyone else’s input.

Pete Hegseth freaks out when asked questions. It’s understandable, any attempt to answer reveals him to be stupid.

    9. I know this is off topic, but what the fuck is going on with Trump’s face? He is simultaneously fat and skeletal. His cheekbones are protruding and his eye sockets are caving in.

Keep in mind that donald is the Commander-in-Chief. The buck doesn’t stop with Hegseth.

Trump is fully asleep in the video coverage of this press scrum.

Also, though, let’s not forget what Pete had to say the day *after* this strike on Fox.

      >I watched it live. We knew exactly who was in that boat, we knew exactly what they were doing, and we knew exactly who they represented.

      >It was very well understood exactly what assets would be used in order to achieve the effect.

Didn’t seem very foggy to me, Pete.

    12. Does he think that the fog of war is a literal fog where they couldn’t see any survivors on satellite?

    13. Did he freak out when someone started singing the song about him from South Park?

You know you gotta admire the speed at which Kegsbreath decided to shut the fuck up about Mark Kelly telling the military not to follow illegal orders being a court martial worthy offense.

    15. Hungry-Tough9371 on

He probably sees he got thrown under the bus by Trump who actually ordered it.

    16. Consistent_Heat_9201 on

Pete, it’s only going to get harder from here and there isnt enough booze to help you. Check yourself in to the newest psych hospital long term.

“There are no boats! There were never any boats! Boats are just a myth!” -Hegseth Probably.

    18. Tart-Pomgranate5743 on

Hegseth insisted Bradley had made “the right call, we have his back.”

That’s the point. Even if it was an independent choice, Bradley gave an illegal order. And in trying to defend it, Hegseth is implicating himself and, by association, Trump.

    19. It’s so hilarious watching Pete try to run from this. “I was in the room because it was so important…but after a few minutes I had to go, lots of other meetings, lots of irons in the fire, I didn’t see the second strike, I totally support our admiral I’m sure *he* didn’t do anything wrong, I wasn’t there though I didn’t see any survivors, etc etc”.

Like, dude, you just forced the brass to travel from all over the world to watch you whine and moan about ROE, and now you violate ROE and you act like we’re gonna buy “oh I wasn’t in the room actually”? It’s so pathetic. Firing on the ship wreck survivors is exactly the kind of thing that speech suggested he would be doing, it’s fully unsurprising that he’s now doing it

    20. I like take, for one reason and one reason only. This take tells every person in a position of command in the United States Military that if you to the bidding of the Trump administration, and those actions become public knowledge, these cowardly pricks will throw you away like yesterdays garbage.

They are basically applying the anti-coup cream about 4 inches thick to the American military. Keep up the good work boys, because you can’t have a coup without the guns!

    21. If one missile strike on one boat in the Caribbean caused fog of war and a chaotic situation, please for the love of God don’t get into a conventional conflict.
