Doug will say “Nate will build apartments on your sleepy cul de sacs and streets”. Boom, another majority in the 905 / outer 416.

Nate unfortunately had the rug pulled out from him ,he was basically gearing up to be Trudeau 2.0 for the liberals but that era of politics for the moment is choking hard .

The 50% is tired of the signals and games of politicians pandering optically to the wings and this is Nates style.

Hes probably the liberal that is most tapped into the alternative media approach that the Conservatives mastered, clean, simplistic narrative leading short videos.

Yes. He’s been an MP since 2015 and serves on a whole one committee. There are backbenchers who have more of a footprint in parliament right now. People think it’s great how much he speaks his mind, I think it’s hard to make a difference when nobody at work likes you.

    4. Nate is authentic to a fault. His authenticity is both the cause for his popularity, and raging hate he receives by partisan Liberals.

We saw recently the theatrics of the budget vote, where no party wanted an election, but had to put on a show for the public on why they hate this budget. Nate gave his honesty on what he likes on the budget, what he doesn’t like, and why he’s still going to vote for it.

How refreshing it is to have your elected representatives be honest, for once, and not have rehearsed partisan talking points regurgitated at you when seeking answers. But, Nate has pissed off too many partisan Liberals over the years, all because he refused to go against his values and play his role as a good partisan.

That’s unfortunately how partisan politics works and it’s not unique to the Liberals. It’s what MPs sign up for, even if they have to swallow large pills that go against what they actually believe. Nate is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the fake political world. Converting some of his biggest critics will be a mountain of a challenge to become OLP leader, I just hope they’ll give him a chance, but I don’t think they will.
