    1. > “Totally unrelated to the previous cancer that I had,” Coulier said. “So in October of this year, I went in for a PET scan, just a routine check-up and something flared on the PET scan. It turned out that I have P16 squamous carcinoma at the base of my tongue. So I said to the doctors, I said, ‘Well, did this happen because of the lymphoma?’ And they said, ‘Totally unrelated.’”

    2. “Hey doc, what’s the cure for tongue cancer?”

“I think the best line of treatment would be to…cut it out”

Beating one cancer and being diagnosed with another? Just awful.

My grandma beat skin cancer, then beat esophagus cancer like 20 years later, and then got pancreatic cancer which spread everywhere in a matter of a month 4 years after esophagus cancer. FUCK CANCER RIP grandma. It’s so fucked up. I wish him the best. ;(

    5. A guy at work had this, and they built him a new tongue using cadaver material. Wild what they can do.

    6. Well Dave, ‚You Oughta Know‘ why this has happened. It’s okay though, they’ll just ‚Cut it out!‘

    7. Having any kind of radiation treatment for cancer elevates your risk of developing other cancers in your lifetime. If he had any radiation to treat his lymphoma, there’s a good chance it’s only related in that it could have been caused by the treatment of the first cancer.
