He died… With Dignitas

An extended family member of mine had terminal cancer back in the 90s. Every available medical intervention had been exhausted and there was nothing more doctors could do. I wish the laws back then allowed him to have a final meal, one of his favourite drinks and a final cigar before departing this life in a peaceful and dignified manner. Instead he had to spend his final days being pumped with morphine to the point where he was basically in a coma. I never met him as this happened before I was born but if you ask me a ww2 veteran deserved better than that.
