      The committee meets to discuss it tomorrow December 2 at 10 AM. It, along with 18 other age verification bills, are in a package they’re trying to add to the year-end spending bill. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR REPS AND DEMAND THEY OPPOSE THIS PACKAGE. It’s a privacy and censorship nightmare.

      GovTrack gives it a 15% chance of becoming law, but any number above 0% is unacceptable.

      I remember using the Internet before most people in Congress even knew what it was. I’m not a libertarian by any stretch of the imagination, but I’ve always been on Team Wild West for the Internet.

      Didn’t chatGPT encourage a child to commit suicide? But god forbid we regulate AI. That’s the only thing propping up the stock market and economy. Just follow the money when you want to know true motivations of government.
