      The White House launched a “Media Offenders” webpage last week dedicated to disparaging news outlets that publish anything other than fawning coverage of the president. The page includes an “Offender Hall of Shame” and what will apparently be a recurring “Media Offender of the Week” feature.

      But things began to unravel soon after the page launched

      Why don’t they just get their own ‚official‘ media outlet… They can call it ’state sponsored media‘ or whatever.

      The hardcore trump people don’t watch Fox anymore. They are all about newsmax. My in-laws live on that station. Holidays are really rough for me.

      I’m so glad we have a level-headed, competent group of people leading us into a successful, pleasant world for our community. Someone who unifies us instead of dividing us apart.

      We have affordable goods and services. No one fears being homeless if they get sick or loses their job.

      It truly is paradise. – Alternate reality me who hasn’t had a Republican in charge of anything for 20+ years.

      Journalists should be honored to find themselves on that list. It probably means their reporting was honest. MAGA hates the truth more than anything else.

      There was a time when the Obama administration tried to ban Fox News from the Whitehouse press room. At that time, every other news organization threw an absolute fit because they new better. After surviving that, it’s really telling to see fox only defend themselves.

      Not sure what it’s going to take for the spell to break for some on the right, but this is literal confirmation that “woke” just means Trump doesn’t like it.

      Time to wake up.

      Anti-woke and anti-dei are code for „white power“. The only people who hate diversity are people who want one race in charge. That’s Fox News with their 24-hour hate cycle and X creating their own safe space / political correctness for American fascist Nazis. And yeah Fascists!~ Because they don’t give a shit about hypocrisy.

      We live in a time where the Associated Press is listed as a „repeat offender“ for fake news on the White House website.

      I kind of have an issue with these headlines containing all of these words like „falls apart“ „melts down“ etc.

      Yes, we as sane people who fucking hate Trump DO view it as that, but MAGA loyalists do not and Trump sure as hell doesn’t. In a way, all of these actions that these stories cover are *actually* successful for Trump/the white house in the sense that they keep their own base happy since that is what they voted for and want. I think it’s incredibly rare for some MAGA voter to read one of these stories on HuffPost or MSNBC and then at the end of it suddenly realize „woah, Trump *DID* have a melt down at 2AM. why did I vote for him?“

      On the flip side, we see these headlines and all comment „what a child, he’s always having a meltdown“ or „how embarrassing for her–her argument fell apart“ and it just circle jerks from there. I agree with those 2 statements, by the way, but I don’t know if it’s necessarily healthy to constantly be consuming news headlines that are written specifically for my pre-formed opinion.

      To be clear, I don’t know what the fix for this is on a grand scale.. and honestly I don’t think there is a viable one at this point.

      The media outlets named on this „Media Offenders“ website need to sue the administration for 1st Amendment violations. This is an obvious attempt to suppress free speech and undermine freedom of the press.

      I am 28 years old. I work in PR the same as Karoline. I make $70k a year as a senior account executive at a small firm. 5 years ago I delivered pizzas.

      Karoline is the same age as me and was handed the top PR job in the country just because Trump gets a boner when he looks at her.
