I hope it has a smaller marketing bucket because the production budget was on the higher side as well, but all and all a great film. Loved how much it borrowed from the Alien mythos. First time a predator film felt organically in that universe while having its own completely independent marvelous narrative.

The original Predator remains the best of both the series and of that genre of action movies in general.

There are just more people on the earth and in the US now so it’s not much of a surprise that it’s Bigger than the original.
It’s just crazy to see a predator that looks more human than any of the others ever and it does this well.
I enjoyed this movie and I don’t mean this as a criticism, I have never watched anything that felt more like a video game.
It felt less like a Predator movie and more like an episode of The Mandalorian. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Prey, but the box office numbers will probably lead to more movies like Badlands.
