Alright give him full custody then if you can’t be arsed

Edit: the amount of people taking this comment seriously is insane

    2. Hmmm. Talking generally, rather than about this specific scenario, just because a has been violent to b doesn’t mean b is a better parent. I know of a couple, guy got sent down for breaching a non molestation order ( a civil order granted on „balance of probability“) but the lady is a massive meth head.

Social services took the children off her the second he went to prison, and have been trying to give them to him, but can’t because he went to prison he’s struggling to find 1) work 2) housing sufficient for them

She still lives in their 3 bed flat, which is now in a terrible state. He lives in an appalling „bed and breakfast“ where sewage regularly comes up through the sink in his bedroom.

    3. I understand your pain but this is how the U.K courts see it. Just try to focus on you and your children and doing all the fun things you want to do together with them. When it’s you and them. When he’s with them try to occupy yourself with other activities.

It will be hard I know but, this way is a better way to deal with it.

    4. It’s an incredibly sucky situation, but we also shouldn’t make blanket rules against it. Sometimes, there are situations where it is the least sucky outcome.
