    1. r/UnitedKingdom can we spend a moment celebrating positive news or are you incapable?

    2. There are lots of items in Co-op that are reasonably and competitively priced (the Lidl price match helped with that) but then other products that are at least double the price I can get them elsewhere and it seems like complete insanity to buy them. I imagine that is where most of the reductions will be.

It’s the co-op, so that brings the prices to just reasonably higher than everyone else, rather than considerably higher.

Hold up, don’t think my local Co-op even holds a thousand products

If this includes Candy Kittens, words cannot describe how happy this makes me.

    6. Once again, the supermarkets try and deceive us. Coop prices are already extortionate and uncompetitive. They obviously had to dial back their prices to compete with the Big 6 and are framing this as helping the country. Pathetic.

    7. So the Co-op will be less expensive. I’ll continue to support Lidl. How many weeks will the Co-op’s price cuts last?
