Since large chunks of both leading parties (and the entirety of the third biggest party) are beholden to russia, it doesn’t matter if ten million sign this petition, it’ll still go nowhere.
Now there is one more
Government says no.
Considering they ignore much larger petitions, I highly doubt this will be anything more than „We already have procedures in place“.
Why has this petition only started now
And, much like every single other one of these petitions that the media breathlessly reports on as if they’re actually meaningful before it sinks without a trace, it will achieve absolutely nothing at all.
100,000 is such a tiny number relative to the size of a country (even if everyone who signs is a unique UK citizen, it’s still less than 0.15% of the UK’s population), it’s all totally meaningless anyway.
Make sure to include Boris Johnson in the scope of this investigation….!!
