Hallo. Ich lebe nicht in der Türkei, aber ich habe vor Kurzem angefangen, türkisches Çay zu trinken. Es gefällt mir wirklich gut und ich habe diese Ince-Belli-Gläser gekauft. Aber mir ist aufgefallen, dass dies aus Kalknatronglas besteht. Es ist spülmaschinenfest, aber nicht mikrowellengeeignet und, was noch wichtiger ist, anscheinend nicht kochendes Wasser. Ich habe mich also gefragt, welche Art von Glasmaterial die meisten Menschen verwenden. Spielt das überhaupt eine Rolle? Gibt es eine bestimmte Methode, um zu verhindern, dass es zerbricht? Online scheint es schwierig zu sein, z. B. Borosilikat- oder Pyrex-Ince-Belli-Gläser zu finden. Vielen Dank für jeden Rat.

This is actually a good glass brand in turkey I do not think you can find a better ince belli. You dont need to microwave your tea also. Just pour it
Why would you put a tea glass in the microwave?
It’s relatively common to run the glass under hot (but not boiling) water before pouring tea into it because it’s a small glass and the glass‘ temperature cools down the tea if it’s cold. Added benefit of avoiding the thermal shock and cracking it, I guess.
I’ve never made or seen someone make tea in microwave so no idea on there.
About the glasses however I can safely say that Paşabahçe is one of the best brands for it.
FYI: I only mentioned microwave for context and if I wanted to microwave something else, don’t worry I DO NOT make çay in the microwave😅
It doesn’t really matter but the way the tea is made matters. This glass wasn’t made with microwaving in mind in the first place. The glass should be fine as long as you don’t pour the hot tea in a cold glass. Just pour it calmly.

Also check this video about making some tea, you use a two part tea kettle to boil the water in the bottom part and brew the tea on top. We also usually leave the stove on with very low fire so that tea stays hot since a whole family can drink 3 or 4 glasses per person time to times. Think of it like british tea time Ig? Also if you wanna make it more fun, get some sunflower seeds with the tea, open a film or a tv series and just lay back. You can also enjoy it with snacks for sure.
It probably means do not boil water directly in it. Unless it was already cracked or you temperature shocked it, I’ve never seen a genuine pasabahce ince belli glass shatter by just pouring boiling water in it.
You do not make turkish tea in a glass. For teabags you do but not in an incebelli thats a war crime.
I heat my water the old fashioned way on the stove. Then i put my boiling water on top teapot and refill the bottom teapot, add my tea leaves to top teapot and wait.
You can also just boil the water in a kettle (or microwave as long as the container microwave safe) and use it in the top teapot meanwhile water in bottom teapot boils on the stove
In the cold weather you may need to warm the tea glass, otherwise I can be broken or you may simply put a tea spoon inside. Dont use your tea glass for any other purpose drink only tea, keep it happy 🙂
Don’t do what I do, but if my tea has cooled a little, I warm it in the microwave.
What do you mean by not boiling water friendly? It’s a common glassy ceramic, it shouldnt have problem with the temperature of boiling hot water.
I often forget my empty glass in the balcony (which drops down to freezing temperatures in the winter), then want another glass of tea and fill the (very) cold glass directly from the pot that is literally boiling. In over 13 years of doing this, I’ve had a glass break only one single time. I use this brand’s glasses. You’ll be fine, don’t worry.

I have put this brand tea glasses in microwave before. Not broken or cracked.
Paşabahçe is good quality, pouring boiling water in it will not damage it, even after years of use. If I see one, that’ll be the day. Just don’t microwave it, if you’re not sure it won’t damage sodalime products.
you can put a teaspoon in the glass before pouring the boiling water to prevent it from shattering.
this product mainly made for Turkish people and they usually dont do anything extraordinary with these glasses. So the material serves for best drinking conditions. Not any other purposes. It has mandatorial basic standarts physically and in Turkish people would know that. You dont transfer boiling water with tea glass to anywhere. Nor put in a microwave. Neither do „Breaking Bad“ stuff lol.
