      Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon? Kinda shocked at these numbers, but probably because they only count officially registered, externally displaced vs internally displaced.

      Colombia hosts over 2.8 million refugees and migrants from Venezuela.

      The US has taken in 3.6 million refugees. Feels like this map is a weird blend of cherry picking stats and dates and what counts as a refugee

      It’s should be interesting to know where the refugees ending in Chad, Sudan, and Ethiopia come from. Hear me out, Congolese and Somalis nearly all end in Kakuma then find their way to Nairobi and off to Europe. Chad, Sudan and Ethiopia should tell the world what is happening. Because these countries are not even friendly to their own citizens.

      Would be nice to see one for IDPs. There are many more and they have very similar needs without getting the same level of attention.

      As of early 2024, the total number of Venezuelan refugees and migrants in Colombia was approximately 2.8 million people.

      Oh my God, what is this nonsense? We have more than 10 million refugees in Egypt from 133 countries, half of them Sudanese!

      Those are rokkie numbers.
      Egypt currently holds over 6 million Sudanese people who are escaping war. I hope all the best for them. 💔

      Greece, Italy and Spain have taken just as many refugees as Poland has, if not more. Yet Poland is on the map and these three aren’t?

      Turkey has 4 million registered refrugees.

      Estimations are around 8 to 10 milion total.
