Leider ist gestern einer der Soldaten des Artilleriebataillons von Brasschaat nach einem Mörsergranatenunfall ums Leben gekommen.
Es gibt kaum Informationen. Die belgische Armee verwendet derzeit die neueren spanischen Expal 60- und 81-mm-Mörser sowie die älteren französischen MO-120 120-mm-Schwermörser.
Nach meinen militärischen Erkenntnissen handelt es sich höchstwahrscheinlich um eine vorzeitige Detonation einer Granate beim Abfeuern, aber noch keine Einzelheiten.

A few days in the news, some politicians playing it emotionally as patriotic and eventually be forgotten. My condolences.
Sad reality is, what or who defines the worth of a human life?
Especially now with the fear mongering and increased polarisation, hostility among allies, riling up youth to take arms and get in the army….
Who still believes there is a greater good in the motives of those actions?
