Do Ameicans believe he will play fair in the upcoming elections? Or not try to abuse his powers to prevent them, void them (voter fraud)?
I don’t understand caring about approval ratings outside of election years. The Republicans won’t remove him no matter what he does.

Why on earth is the map not color coded? [The Economist’s approval rating page](https://www.economist.com/interactive/trump-approval-tracker) has a net approval by state map that’s much easier to read without having to click on each individual state to have any clue what the approval rating is if anyone’s actually interested.

Politics aside, why are Americans voting for candidates nearly 80 year olds; Biden’s age was contentious among both sides, then we did it again with an even older guy. We have some of the smartest, creative, talented, and ambitious people in this country, yet we chose the oldest and dumbest people for president 3 times in the last 10 years.

It may affect the midterms but the lower Trump’s approval rating goes, the more he will lean into authoritarianism. If he’s not idolized or worshiped anymore, he will burn everything to the ground.
The article doesn’t seem to point out an obvious fact, Trump only has positive approval rates in 11 states, and those states are among the least populated ones.
Long story short: he’s under water by double digits in every swing state.
The fringe swings of 2024 (New Jersey, Virginia, etc.) are all under water too.
The safe big GOP holds that aren’t overwhelmingly republican (Ohio, Florida, and Texas) are all -6.
The GOP is strong where the people aren’t (Montana, Wyoming, etc.).
The Democrats strong holds have never been stronger. (California, New York, Illinois, etc.)

Wow every swing state doesn’t approve. If only he plainly and openly stated in his campaign that it would be exactly like this so they could’ve known not to vote for him…
