    1. If true, its possibly good news for Nvidia, its untapped pottential for their future chips

    2. China claims a lot of things. But just like for everyone else, show it or shut it tough guy.

    3. It’s worth noting „4nm“ from TSMC on Nvidia products aren’t descriptions of physical transistor dimensions, hasn’t been for two decades now afaik. So I’m wondering what’s the actual physical dimensions of China’s claimed-14nm against whatever TSMC has for their cutting edge solutions.

Actual-14-nanometer-wide transistors would be cutting edge.

    4. As someone in a fairly adjacent field, it’s not the tech that matters at this point, it’s your yield.

I am unsure if the anti-china sentiment that is so prevalent on this website is a result of honest-to-goodness Astro-turfing, western hegemonic insecurity or some kind of algorithmic brainwashing. Regardless, it is uncanny and a little bit hilarious.

    6. 120 TFLOPs doesn’t rival Nvidia 4nm

Matching v100 perf is impressive but it’s not matching leading node
