India needs to slow their roll.
The top 10 most populous countries are: China, India, United States, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Bangladesh, Russia, and Mexico.
Russia, Brazil and Mexico are not on the map.
Congo and Ethiopia are on the map but not part of the most populous countries.
So the 5 largest countries accounting for almost exactly 50% of the population will account for almost 50% of births? How groundbreaking

India has 7 times as many births as America next year. China still over double. A couple of the fastest growers are Pakistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Democratic Republic of Congo
3 of the fastest growers are Muslim countries and 3 others do have large Muslim populations as well (Nigeria, over 50% Muslim population with that Muslim population growing faster than its christian population, Ethiopia, around 35% Muslims, and India, 15% Muslims, but among newborn over 20%)
I’m surprised China’s on the list considering how severely their fertility rate has fallen in the past decade
