So he’ll be out before 2030, potentially even earlier still given the overcrowding in prisons.

They specifically tell you **not** to execute this maneuver in every piece of training literature I’ve read because of exactly this potential outcome. Given the low probability of a car being in *just* the right location for the collision to occur, it’s likely he’s been driving like a dickhead for ages.
Throw the book at him.
Not bad going, deprive someone of 7 decades and get less than 1 as punishment.
Anyone who is a „professional“ driver should be jailed far, far, far more harshly for driving infringements such as these.

Surely they missed a 0 off the end of that sentence?
He’ll be out in 2-3yrs. That is absolutely shocking!
