  1. Hey the US is doing this with our national parks! I wonder when we’ll hear about record low tourism at these place

Can they do a waiver system to reduce the price if they have looted artifacts from your home country?

I love to read my French news on…

    Edmonton City News.

PS: it’s still too cheap. Should be at least double the price compared to EU residents.

    >Paris’ Louvre museum has approved a ticket hike from 22 to 32 euros ($25 to 37) for non-European visitors

Put some state of the art security system with that 50% increase.

And it’s still like half the price of the Winchester Mystery House in San José, California 🤣

  6. Got to the Louvre for our appointment 45 minutes early on a visit last year and employees shuttled us between three lines before yelling at all of us for being „late“ and tried to refuse us entry. Absolute nightmare of an experience.

Hopefully they can use these new profits to make a functional queue.

As a europoor, I feel like it’s my duty to point out that this is still way too cheap.

Who are all these people vacationing in France who would not be able to afford at least 50-100€ to go to the Louvre?

I’m sorry that my country started the “show me how much of an asshole you are” competition.

That’s the Disney approach. Raise prices until capacity isn’t maxed out anymore.

The new price won’t turn people away and give em a little more revenue so this shouldn’t be too crazy

I don’t really get any of this. Either this or the US national park changes.

Do these sites have revenue goals or something? It’s hard to imagine they are profit centers. So while it’s completely explainable from an economic principles perspective I just don’t get the point.
