      If Trump wants to do this and have support from Democrats, he should just say he’s stopping H1B visas from 3rd world countries. Democrat leaders tend to use the H1B program as low hanging fruit to garner favor from their voters as well. Even Reddit seems to not like H1B visas which was a weird shift in sentiment I never expected to see

      Here’s a fun fact for you: the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd worlds nomenclature comes for WW2. 1st world were the allies, 2nd was the axis, and 3rd didn’t have an army big enough to participate. Fast forward to today, 80 years later, and people just use 3rd world to mean poor.

      Poor countries is what he means, he doesn’t want „the poors“ in the US. It’s a war on poverty but not the way you’d hope.
