Eine weit hergeholte Frage. Ich war vor ein paar Tagen am Langestrand Kapell und dieser Grabstein erregte meine Aufmerksamkeit. Wer könnte etwas Hintergrundwissen dazu liefern? Handelt es sich um ein Kindergrab oder stellt die Figur etwas anderes dar?

Might be. We have a large one with three kids on our graveyard, „three brothers“. I assume they all died at young age.
While I don’t know the symbolic meaning of this specific tombstone, it is not uncommon with inlay work in tombstones here.
