Fun facts… the average thickness of the ice there is about 2.2km (1.4mi). If all of it melted, sea level would rise about 60m (200ft).

    2. Is it with a magic hand that makes the solid water disappear suddenly while maintaining the rocks at the same altitude, or is it a projection of what it would be like if all this water became liquid again (rising water levels + isostatic rise)?

But it’s going to look very different if all the ice would melt. Sea level rise will eat away some portion of the dry land, while the crust, devoid of any weight of the frozen water, will start to rise in turn…
