    1. I used to bloody love a TGI’s both here and in the US. It was really nice food at moderate prices. Jack Daniel’s chicken and ribs, decent steaks, nice desserts, good atmosphere. No idea what happened, but the last time I went to one (2020) it was an absolute disaster. Crazy prices, smaller portions, warmed up food. It’s a real shame.

That ideal combination of really bad food, horrible decor, and high prices. It really whets the appetite.

    3. Overpriced food and drinks, what can you expect? People don’t become ‘brand loyal’ when it comes to restaurants

    4. TGIs food has gone downhill in the last 5 or so years but their prices have skyrocketed. It’s never been cheap but it’s ridiculous cost now, it’s why I wouldn’t dream of using them any more.

    5. TBH I thought they’d already gone bust. I haven’t been to one for 25 years 😀

    6. All them shockingly disgusting American semi premium(price wise) fast food chains are bound to fail in UK imho. Except a few (Five guys etc)

The thin, cheese, topped garlic bread, was amazing but they got rid of it. I also used to like the lamb Skank and mash.

    8. Are we the only ones here who still love the sticky sesame chicken? We went twice this past week!

    9. Even in their heyday, TGI Fridays was shit. Surprised they lasted this long.
