    1. Such a great game now and I’m glad I didn’t fomo on launch and waited. Probably wouldn’t have come back after that launch experience.

Played it for the first time over the summer and was blown away; 150 hours down the drain.

    3. Night City feels more like a place than any other place online. To misquote Gertrude Stein, there is a *lot* of ‚there,‘ there.

Combine that with all the true choices your character makes, from creation through endgame, and you get the most immersive RPG yet made. It’s fantastic.

    4. Inflation adjusted? You can probably outsell windows 95 if not inflation adjusted.

    5. The difference between now & release is truly impressive… I’m so glad CDPR stuck w/ it

I am a huge witcher 3 fan, one of the best games I’ve ever played and 100% it.

For some reason, I just could not get into this game and I’ve tried on 3 separate occasions. Feel like Im missing what others are seeing, but it just doesn’t keep my attention for very long.

Which is a shame, since it looks and plays incredible – definitely a huge and involved game.

    7. I played Witcher 3 in like 2022 and it had so many bugs including quest breaking ones.

I played cyberpunk 1 year after release with 80+ mods with no bugs. And it was a way more ambitious and graphically/gameplay intensive game.

Cyberpunk always got a bad wrap when it was hyped up off the back of its way more broken predecessor. (But releasing on previous console generation was genuinely a mistake.)

      This is cool.

Can you use that extra bit of income to finally finish the North Oak Casino & Country Club now?!

    9. One of the best open world cities ever made. It’s just fun to roam around and see what kind of trouble you can get into plus it has a great DLC.

    10. full experience of the main story + phantom liberty is my favourite gaming experience of all time.

So it was the right decision to launch when they did?

Seems to me like if they delayed, they would’ve delayed maybe 2 years and lost sales and hype as a result.

    12. Yea but it wouldn’t be half the game it is without The Witcher 3 coming before it.
Fuck, think of what they will do with Witcher 4 and then Cyberpunk 2!

    13. Well, yeah. Witcher 3 was an amazing game and contributed to the mass preorder of Cyberpunk. They absolutely let us down at launch and lost a lot of goodwill, but they stayed with the game and fixed it earning some of that goodwill bag while creating more sales.

After the first Witcher I was „pre-order anything CDProject.“ and now I am „Never preorder CDProjecy.“. The only developer left that I will preorder is FromSoft single player games.

    14. It’s really a great game. I honestly think if they would have delayed and released a quality (performance) product on day one it would be considered one of the best. That first year really cost them.

    15. I got Cyberpunk last Christmas, and I swear, it has been ages since a game has drawn me in so deeply. I played it during a really difficult time in my life, and it gave me so much more than just distraction. It actually made me feel something again.
There is something about this world, the atmosphere, the characters, the story, that does not just entertain you. It pulls you in and stays with you. It did not only captivate me, but so many players around the world.
Honestly, it is truly, truly amazing.

I’m so glad I came back to this game after the initial bugged release. It’s absolutely fantastic, and has been in my opinion one of the most immersive RPGs

    17. It’s clear that CD Projekt’s has a formula that works. Can’t wait to see what they do with cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4

It is definitely one of my greatest comeback stories in games. My first play through actually ended up being pretty heartbreaking, so I’d love to give it another stab. I haven’t played the DLC and have since learned that there are “better” endings than what I experienced. But the characters were so well-written, and V was so well-written… It didn’t feel like one of those games where I was my own version of what I wanted to be, but I loved the character that it let me inhabit for a while, if that makes sense.

I played it for a couple of hours on launch and found it so badly implemented I uninstalled it. Sounds like I should give it another try.

That’s great. Bought it over the summer. Glad it bounced back, very much like No Man’s Sky. Got better with age. Good job to the devs and producers for doing the right thing.
