They’re mostly moldovans with romanian passports considering there’s close to a million moldovans with romanian passports. The irony is that the general perception in Romania is that there’s a real anti-Romanian sentiment in Moldova and traveling there might no be the best idea. I’m hoping it’ll change for the better once Moldova joins the EU and more of us come visit. At the min Bulgaria seems to be the neighbouring country at the top of the list where romanians prefer to holiday, over €1.4 billion euros spent by romanians in Bulgaria this year.
