VPs usually don’t win elections anyway, probably because of the stink of their current administration and public opinion against them after the 4-8 years in office. Biden most likely won because he had 45’s cooling off period.
It would probably be best for him, particularly should the administration continue fucking things up, to not run on the next election and let the Dems get in office so he can blame them for problems and position himself as the solution.

This is the fundamental problem with forming and running an organization like a mob as Trump did. He has his top lieutenants to carry out his agenda but they all hate each other and see themselves as the heir to the throne. Once the figurehead is gone if he hasn’t picked a natural successor the lieutenants will fight amongst themselves and end up splintering the mob. Which is exactly how Trump runs his business, his crappy TV show, and both his administrations.

Being a Trump VP doesn’t seem like a career booster based on previous history.
There simply is no way in hell that dude can replace Trump. Love DJT or hate him (I hate him) but there’s no denying he is unique, and most of the reason he has such a following and been so successful is he is NOT a politician. Therefore any other among the R party will far short, and then be rejected by MAGA. God I can’t wait, but we have to get there first.

Problem with Vance is that his audience is getting smaller and smaller. Moderates don’t like him for obvious reasons. Neocons don’t like him for being too isolationist. Fuentes rips on him just about daily, so he doesn’t even have the far right behind him. A good amount of MAGA doesn’t even like him due to his ties to the tech Oligarchs. Country is also becoming increasing anti-Israel, on both the right and the left, which also isn’t helping Vance. And despite being Catholic, he seems to frequently criticize the Catholic Church’s leadership so he’s losing some votes there too.
So his audience is basically just some right-wing tech bros and some pro-Israel Evangelicals.
JD Vance has changed his name four times. Think about that. Who do you know has changed their name four times? That’s someone who either hates themselves, gets into trouble a lot, does whatever anyone tells them, or holds no values and does anything to get ahead. Do you want any of those people as your next president? I didn’t want that even before this fiasco. Good luck buddy, we’re all counting on you to split the vote.
