Dies ist Teil meines Projekts, mit Reddit-Daten und LLMs herumzubasteln. Ich wollte etwas Nützliches für die Community schaffen und gleichzeitig meine Programmierfähigkeiten verbessern.
Die Idee besteht darin, hervorzuheben, welche kabellosen Ohrhörer am meisten Anklang gefunden haben. Um es klar auszudrücken: Die meisten lieben =/= objektiv am besten. Aber hoffentlich ist es trotzdem ein nützlicher Datenpunkt, insbesondere für diejenigen, die von den Optionen überwältigt sind.
Offensichtlich ist dies eine sehr allgemeine Liste. Es wird viel interessanter, wenn Sie die Daten in Scheiben schneiden.

Sie können die Daten durchsuchen, die Kommentare lesen, nach Preis, Subreddits, ANC filtern oder nach Kommentaren zu Klangqualität, Anrufen, Verwendung im Fitnessstudio, Laufen, Spielen usw. filtern. **Methodology:**
**Data collection:** I wrote a script that uses Google and Reddit search to search keywords like “best wireless earbuds”, “best earbuds for working out”, “best noise cancelling earbuds”, “best budget earbuds”, “earbuds for calls”, “earbuds with long battery”, etc., filtered for the past year, sorted by relevance. I used LLMs (think ChatGPT but with preset instructions) to analyze each search result, extracting recommendations and reviews from the comments and performing sentiment analysis. I kept going until the relevant results analyzed dropped below 40% of all the results analyzed so far. A total of 2,060 relevant threads were analyzed, representing 12,927 users.
**Scoring:** Each user contributes up to 1 “vote” per model, regardless of how many times they mention it.
**Handling imprecise references:** If a user does not specify the exact model (e.g. “Galaxy Buds” could be Buds+, Buds2, Buds2 Pro, Buds3 Pro, etc.), their vote is still included. However, their 1 vote is “spread out” among the possible models. More popular/current models are given more weight (because the chance that those are the ones being referred to is higher).
**Ranking:** I calculated a final score by normalizing the positive count, normalizing the log of the positive-to-negative ratio (log to tame extreme ratio skew in models with few mentions), and summing them with a weight of 75:25 (idea is that sheer volume of approval is more telling than a few isolated rave reviews).
**Caveat:** handling and merging different model namings, abbreviations, and nicknames is non-trivial so a 100% LLM approach wasn’t sufficient. I did some eyeballing and manual clean-up but there may still be mistakes. Let me know if anything seems off or surprising!

Ratios would be good between likes and dislikes. The more known ones ofc got more likes, but the lesser known could have a better ratio. Makes sense?
Would be more interesting if you did something like show % of up votes or subtracted downvotes from upvotes as well. AirPods have lots of upvotes but also lots of downvotes. You’re ranking by upvotes.
So which ones were testomonies written by bots.
As someone with pixel 2 buds. I have to say they are amazing but after a little over 2 years or so of having them the noise reduction has gone down and battery life isnt as good. Overall 8/10
I absolutely refuse to believe AirPods are being recommended by anyone who’s tried any good audio equipment lol.
Interesting to me. I’ve been through many of the top listed models as a heavy user and a bit of an audiophile. My actual personal pick(for the price) for best sound and quality build would be my JLab epic lab editions. Dual driver, the mid/highs coming via armature.
This is great data, and is greatly representative… but ultimately what people talk about is what is either the absolute cheapest decent Chinese bud, or the most heavily marketed and prevalent brand.

Apple airpods 4 ANC have been really nice, they have a nice shape for my ear, ones with the suction cup don’t fit. The active noise cancellation is still really effective, I don’t have to increase the volume at all when next to a busy road

A full on proper headphones one would be cool because I tried to look into that man that’s a whole little subculture! i just want some good quality over the ear headphones that can go for a walk
Nice resource to use with rtings. I mainly go off that and the ecosystem I mainly have.
This seems skewed towards ownership statistics. If many people own the apple ones, they will be recommended in bigger proportion.
On other topic…. I wish I could poke Tim Cook’s eye with a 3.5 mm jack
The Sony XM headphones were honestly the best ones I have had. I got mine about 5 years ago (don’t remember if they were the xm5 or a different one though) and they worked through pretty much anything. I’ve dropped them in water, accidentally left them in when I took a shower, dropped them all over the place and they just kept working.
Only reason I stopped using them was because the batteries had degraded so much that I got many an hour or two out of them now.
I replaced them with skull candy ones that I saw a couple of recommendations for and they are already broken. One doesn’t even work unless I hold it a specific way and the battery life is already degrading and it hasn’t even been 6 months yet. They also keep disconnecting and needing to be paired again over and over
