Crazy to think that if it were a country on its own it would be the 6th most populated one (if I’m counting correctly).

This is really a great perspective.
Uttar Pradesh would be the fourth most populous country if it were a country, after India, China, USA, and Indonesia.
A lot of people don’t understand how many people live in India and how difficult it is to manage such a large but also diverse population. People of all strata exist and span over a wide range of ethnicity, culture, race, education, but also development. Literacy rates are not consistent, nutrition is not consistent, rich poor divide is rampant and what not. And India is still recovering from its colonial past that spans over a large part of the last millennium.
Given the scale, I always admire the spirit India and Indians have to do good and be good.

TLDR: India is huge with a lot of diverse people, it’s awe inspiring, power to India.

Impossible to be antisocial in Uttar Pradesh.

I saw that the state in Brazil where I live is more than twice the size of Uttar Pradesh in total area, but has 211 million fewer people. Crazy!

I don’t think Uttar Pradesh is so crowd that it’s in top 5 the most populated place in the world.

It’s the most fertile land in the world, lots of food = lots of people.

If you haven’t ever been to this part of the world it’s impossible to describe how many people there are. It’s a constant onslaught of humanity at all times.

That’s unimaginable stress on public infrastructure for a low tier income country…

You should do a UP vs other states in India to put this even further in context.
