This is the moment Taylor Swift should say something and endorse the democrat. She owns all of Nashville so she has sway in Tennessee.
Democrat Aftyn Behn is polling within two points of her opponent, Republican Matt Van Epps. This is less than the poll’s margin of error.
That is incredibly impressive, given that Trump won the district by 22% in 2024.

As a reminder – while this *sounds* great, Polls are becoming more and more unreliable, especially at a congressional seat level. Further a special election is all about turnout since the numbers are usually low.
I will hope, but I won’t hold my breath. Nor will I invest any emotion into it until it happens.

This was a +22 district. It being close likely terrifies the gop cause there aren’t many districts that are redder than that.
But dont worry, their solution to fix it is to spike everyone’s Healthcare insurance costs. That should do it.
Although I’m about 90% sure the Republican will win in a squeaker, that “squeaker” part will scare Republicans into amping up their election rigging plans a few notches.
