Jeder lila Punkt steht für eine Stadt oder ein Dorf, in dem im November 2025 mindestens eine Person die App genutzt hat. Ich fand die Muster interessant genug, um sie hier zu teilen:
\- Die Ostküste ist wirklich erstrahlend, insbesondere der Nordostkorridor (Boston → NYC → Philly → DC).
\- Kalifornien hat mehrere dichte Cluster, wobei die Bay Area und LA die hellsten Flecken sind.
\- In ländlichen Gebieten, vor allem im Mittleren Westen und im Süden, gibt es eine überraschend hohe Nutzung, obwohl sie dort viel weiter verbreitet ist.
\- Im Gebirgswesten und im Wüstensüdwesten ist der größte Teil der Karte dunkel, aber Orte wie die Gegend von Denver, Salt Lake City und Albuquerque weisen spärliche, aber deutliche Cluster auf.
\- Florida ist an beiden Küsten hell, insbesondere rund um Miami und die Gegend um Tampa Bay.
Und ja, im Großen und Ganzen ähnelt dies einer Standardkarte der US-Bevölkerungsdichte, was absolut Sinn macht. Dennoch macht es Spaß zu sehen, wie sich dieses vertraute Muster speziell dort abzeichnet, wo Menschen leben und mit einem sanften Alarm anstelle des Standardalarms aufwachen.

does this actually show where people wake up gently, or just where people own iPhones and bother installing niche alarm apps? Like, if we overlay this with income data / urban density, I bet the correlation would be wild
What do you mean you „pulled“ data from the app? Did you hack the app and stole user information, or does this app somehow exposes user data?
This is just a population map.
This is not interesting at all. Its mostly a population map and an ad for your app.
