This is what evolution causes males of the species to do to get laid and procreate. They put themselves in mortal danger. Predation occurs with high success rates when the males are in competition and distracted. On the other hand pregnant females in the wild are easy pickings for predators.
Contrast this to human females in western world and their narrative of victimization.
