Ich bin gerade auf diese Anzeige von PostFinance gestoßen, in der sie ein KI-generiertes Bild eines Mannes in einem scheinbar Zürich HB verwenden. Wie im Ernst? War es so schwierig, einfach dorthin zu gehen und ein Foto von einem Mann mit einem Hund zu machen? Diese Dinge gehen mir auf die Nerven, Sie lagern die Arbeit eines Schweizer Fotografen und Models an einen amerikanischen multinationalen Konzern aus (ich nehme an), nur um ein paar hundert Franken zu sparen

You can be happy they disclaimed it.
Probably more than just a couple of hundred francs. Thats the reason.
Welcome to the world where no-talent ass-clowns can „make art“ using their keyboard without having to hire a pesky designer, photographer and model/dog, where the AI was „inspired“ (aka stole) the photo etc from some now out of work photographer / designer.
A photo shoot costs more than a couple hundred francs, a good photographer is expensive (including all the lighting equipment they have to bring) and models are not cheap (animals are NOT easy to photograph), plus there is the editing that has to be done after, the approval meetings etc.
In reality, they likely saved upwards of 5 to 10 thousand francs.
I doubt any of that will make it into your Postfinance account though.
I’m going to get downvoted for this one, but I don’t really see an issue in this case.
This is not art, this is just a utilitarian picture and looks quite decent (no immediately noticeable AI artefacts).
The argument that this is taking work from a Swiss photographer is the same argument as saying the lightbulbs took the work from the people lighting oil street lamps at night
There was a time when photography was seen as cheating, and putting talented, hard-up artists out of work.

Its the new era, normal. My wife has her marketing company and they just do amazing creative things for their clients for a fraction of the cost.
Absolute non-issue, be glade that they disclosed it is AI generated.
