They better be building an AI that does our taxes for us free of charge
I don’t need AI to track me and spy on me. I can do that well enough myself. I have not seen signs the us gov. will use AI to reduce automobile fatalities or replant forests or upgrade farm soil or reduce air pollution and toxic material discharges and spills or facilitate mass transit or increase affordable housing and decrease homelessness. In fact the only entities that are profiting from the adoption of AI are defense contractors and other corporate interests.

Wait did we all not just learn about how bad this can be of a single bad update happens? Like did we not just see the internet go down multiple times in the past few months due to AWS and other companies issues?
Great now the government is gonna be run by robots. Honestly, Skynet might be preferable. It’s at least honest about what it wants.
