I blame adults having „arms“ for the problems with children. If we remove all the arms from adults , then they cannot „grab“ children anymore. I guess they could still use their feet, so maybe those should be removed also. Remember, the mere existence of you means all animals have to live in fear, especially the ones that are tasty.
