Nope! There was a mistake but it’s not on the consumer. Someone mis-entered the price, that’s the one they should be going after. Except if it’s a direct employee, then they’re stuck firing the perp and eating the cost.

That’s what I would think anyhow.

    2. >The company then asked affected customers to choose between two solutions: Keep the iPad and pay the difference to match the price, but with a €150 discount, or return it and receive a refund of the €15 and a €20 discount voucher for their inconvenience.

What happens if they just say lol no or don’t respond at all?

    3. It would be one thing if they caught it immediately and didnt ship them out, but almost two weeks later and they think it’s on the customer to fix their mistake despite having processed the orders and shipped out the tablets themselves. Seems like horseshit to me. I hope they get a big fat middle finger and told they have to eat the cost of their own mistake.

I wonder what would happen if the customer just did not respond.

Imagine you bought this in a physical store in cash. What would they do then?

Wife: Honey he says they were sold by accident and he wants the iPad back.

Husband: Tell him to fuck right off.

Wife: Sorry, he’s already sold it to somebody else and they left town.

    6. This is essentially the First Rule of Acquisition for customers: Once you have their product, you never give it back.
