Naturally I support peaceful protest, and people have got good grounds to protest Israel, but I also feel that Tesco has a right to suspend them for refusing to handle certain shop items due to their personal beliefs.

I believe in this person’s right to protest but at the same time I will forget all my morals and principles and go full scorched earth if someone minorly inconveniences me whilst shopping.

The Dunnes workers is a story that makes me proud. If you feel the same then it’s hypocritical to not support this

If he feels so strongly why work there at all. I absolutely get it but he signed a contract and that has obligations on both parties. Not just the employer.

Would people who support this staff member also support a Muslim who takes a job there but then refuses to pack products that contain alcohol. Or works on a cash register but refuses to scan items containing pork?

If you don’t like your job, find a new one. I wish I could go to my job and just refuse to do my job because I’m mad about something thousands of miles away that has nothing to do with my actual job.
